Allow copying of code blocks to the other file
Allow copying of code blocks to the other file. When a diff is found the user should be able to copy block from one file to the other.You don't need to save the modified file because the user can easy copy the content and paste it in their favorite editor.

make compare windows larger
is there a way to make the compare screens larger ? it seems the top fiet where the text input, file upload tab, etc. takes up valuable space.

The site doesn't work
Since the last week, I am trying to compare two simple strings like 'Hello' and I got this error message everytime, even your samples get this error message:
Input string was not in a correct format.
I just bought a month subscription and I haven't been able to use it, not even one day, either you fix this please or I want my money back.

Automatically login
I am a premium user. We use this excelente tool to compare our graduation works and avoid plagiarism in our college. Diffnow helps us a lot in this goal.
In my system, to make available the files comparison, I use this way of access:
http://www.diffnow.com/?url1=<file1>&url2=<file2>
In order to don't take the risk of don't have my files with more than 2MB analised, i need aways to guide our teachers to previously make login in diffnow. Unfortunately, many of them ended up forgeting to make this login and many files, because of it, are not analised.

3 votesPremium account is for an individual user and cannot be shared with other users. Your request is akin to asking Amazon to allow entering a Prime access token in a URL so that you could share it with other people,
If you need to share a diff report, you can always save it using the Save/Share button and then provide your colleagues with the URL of the report.

It's a great web application I would like to see as an app.

Unresponsive Script Error
I used DiffNow in the past, but I recently encountered "Unresponsive Script Errors" when comparing uploaded PDF files.
I get this message in Firefox:
"A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue.
Script: https://ajax.googleapis.com/aj...ibs/jquery/1.7.2/jquery.min.js4"
If I "Stop" the script, the results show up but the texts show up as tables of numbers.
When I try to compare uploaded files on Google Chrome, I get a message saying something on DiffNow is unresponsive and the only option…
1 voteThis is most likely due to the fact that the diff report for files you are trying to compare is too large and the browser is incapable of handling the output. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about this.

separate the changes
when comparing two excel data sheets, in situations where there are changes in several rows one under another, the tool gives a combined change for rows 1-3, instead of providing changes for row 1, row 2 and row 3 separately. it's impossible to follow every changed row using arrows navigation, as these rows are missed.

I use it for viewing translation of text
This works wonderful.I have an english text, then using google to translate I get a quite oke translation. Both .txt files I put in your program, and the corresponding lines are perfectly next to each other.
I read the original text, and when I don't understand so well, I have the translation on the right, no need to scroll, just exactly next to it. That is a wonderful way to use this.
WordWrap of course is a must then, I saw it on another site with wordwrap and saw you look into it already.

Decode before Comparing.
Often XMLs are encoded,tool is expected to compare data after decoding ,but the tool is not doing that . If tool doesnt decode and compare then there is no difference between this tool and normal text editor.
