when upload a file it would be good if the tools auto formats the content in it.

QuickDiff is faster because it does the comparison entirely client-side in JavaScript, while DiffNow does the comparison on the server using ExamDiff Pro. This enables DiffNow to have much more powerful comparison features, but it does make it slower than QuickDiff. We feel that this is an appropriate trade-off for our users.

Please fix }
If the difference between two files is an added for loop (so file A has the top for loop only and file B has both), Diffnow will report that the changes starts from the } in the first for loop and ends before the } in the second for loop, which doesn't look nice. Could you please change it so that the change is recognised as beginning from the second for and includes the bottom bracket. Thanks :)
for(i=0;i<N;i++) {
a[i] = i;
b[i] = i;
}for(i=0;i<2*N;i++) {
x = rand()%N;
y = rand()%N;
…temp = b[x]; b[x] =

Download Option
When I click on the download option it tells me my session has expired when it was barely 5 seconds after the comparison was complete.

Print Function
I would like to be able to print the compared files as 1 document after the files have been converted highlighting the changes in 1 Document. I find comparing side by side in the small box where i have to toggle left to right to see the full page on each side is a bit of a challenged. Otherwise a fabulous site!

copy code formatting
When I copy the text using this tool the code gets unformated, I need to remove all left spaces and add tab spaces again..
Usually I use to go to the original file, find the snippet of code and copy from there so that can get the code formatted..
1 voteThis problem seems to occur only in Firefox, where this is a known browser problem (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=116083) that we can’t really do anything about.
It should work correctly in Chrome, Safari, IE, and Opera, however.

pdf style comparer
It would be great if two pdfs can be compared for styling differences. Example, there might be cases of report generation and two reports should look exactly similar. So if alignment differences can be pointed out, it will be great tool

Reread from disk when redoing comparison
When you have done a comparison, the files are green. But if you change one file on disk, and want to redo the comparison, there is no easy way. If you select the file again, it's still green, and is not re-read from disk.
1 voteAuto-reloading files is not going to be supported due to browsers security concerns. Uploading files is always a user action.

File Upload tab improvement.
Drag and drop file from local file system as additional method for "browse". Why is this very usefull feature removed?
1 voteDrag-and-drop for file upload works in the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. It doesn’t seem to work in Internet Explorer, but that is an issue with the browser, not with DiffNow.

resize result windows
would nice if we could resize the result windows, instead of clicking fullscreen option.

Intuitive symbols
In revision control programs, when doing a diff check, you have symbols at the left of the text (+, -, ~,...) that means what has be done on each line. It would be more intuitive than color code.

Display issues in Firefox 20.0.1
I'm getting display errors when comparing two URLs in Firefox 20.0.1. One of them comes back -- but bleeds off the right side of the screen. The other gives an error, but the URL is correct. It works OK on IE8, which is the only other browser I have on this particular laptop (running Windows XP).
